Rafael Girfanovich Salikhov was born in the Republic of Bashkortostan in 1932. He entered the Bashkir Theatre and Art School in 1946. In 1949 he graduated from it. After graduation from the Bashkir Theatre and Art School, he worked at the Aurgazinsk kolkhoz-sovkhoz theatre, which was relocated in Salavat in 1956 year.

He achieved success on the stage of the only theatre in his professional biography– Salavat State Bashkir theatre of Drama.

He gained the affection among spectators playing the roles of Kalil in the drama “Galiyabana” by M.Faizi, Bulat in the drama “The blue shawl” by K.Tinchurin, Zakir in “Black faced” by M.Gafuri, Aibulat in the roman “Irgiz” by k.Davletshina

 Rafael Salikhov was titled “The honoured artist RB”. The actor was also awarded the Badge of Honor Order (1986), the medal for veteran of labour (1987) for his creative success and acting talent.  R.G. Salikhov is a perfect example of a high level of professionalism in acting and his unselfish love of the theater arts.
