On June 25, the exhibition "Headwear of the peoples of Bashkortostan" opened at the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The exhibition project presented the museum's collection of hats, which includes both the oldest samples of the collection and the latest arrivals: towel-shaped, knitted, semi-solid hats, fur hats, scarves, bedspreads.

The exhibition features more than 70 exhibits - genuine works of folk art of the late XVIII - early XX centuries, among which it is worth noting the ancient Bashkir haraus and towel-shaped tastar garment; kokoshnik embroidered with gilded threads; kalfaki embroidered with a chanel; rare, decorated with double-sided satin, Chuvash and Mari hats and much more.
