The film of the Bashkir director Bulat Yusupov "Poet's Diary" won the main prize of the competition of feature films of the International Film Festival "Own Way", which was held in Ufa from February 9 to 15.

 - I was glad that the festival chose Ufa, then I was glad that our film was included in the competition, and for the third time, I am happy now! Thanks to the whole team that made the festival here, - said Bulat Yusupov.

The film "Poet's Diary" is dedicated to the life and work of the people's poet of Bashkortostan Rami Garipov. The film completes the trilogy of the film director Bulat Yusupov "The First Republic", which also includes the projects "Babich" and "The First Republic".

It is noteworthy that the date of the film screening - February 12, within the framework of the Festival, coincided with the birthday of the people's poet of Bashkortostan. At the discussion of the work, which took place after the screening, "Poet's Diary" received high marks from the jury and the audience.

"Diary Poet" was shot by the film studio "Bashkortostan" named after Amir Abdrazakova and the film company "Zhivaya Lenta" with the support of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the World Council of Bashkortostan. The author of the script is Bulat Yusupov and Gulsasyak Salamatova, the producers are  Leonid Filinov and Yunir Aminev.
Actors Artur Kunakbaev, Linar Baitov and Arslan Krymchurin will play Rami Garipov's role in the film. Olesya Shibko performed the poet's wife Nadezhda Garipova in the film. Elena Pukhova, Vadim Klysov, Tansulpan Babicheva, Narkas Yumaguzina, Ainur Sitdikov, Murat Rafikov, Salavat Yuldashbaev and others also starred in the film.
