Today, October 27, in the Small Hall of the Bashkir State Philharmonic, the only concert of the leading musical group of the Republic of Tyva - the Tuva National Orchestra was held.

Currently, the Tuva National Orchestra is touring the cities of Russia as part of a grant from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The tour will last until November 7, 2018.

The concert was attended by the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Amina Shafikova. The head of department thanked the guests of the republic for the presented work and presented the team with a collection of Bashkir folk melodies called “Melodious Bashkortostan”.

“From the first issue you gave the wonderful energy of the Tuva land, which lives in the centuries-old melodies of your people. We hope that soon we will see joint creative projects with our National Orchestra of Folk Instruments, which you have agreed to today, ”Amina Ivnievna said.

The Tuva team today presented folk music and works by composers of the Republic of Tyva, throat singing, ancient tunes and new compositions. Unusual national costumes, musical instruments moved the viewer to this mountain republic, covered with secrets and legends.

The orchestra was created in 2003, and over the 15 years of its existence, he visited various music venues in Russia and the world. The conductor of the orchestra is Ayana Mongush, Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Tyva, and artistic director is the People’s Khoomeyzhi of the Tyva Republic, Andrei Mongush.

The Tuva National Orchestra honors, preserves and conveys in its work the centuries-old traditions of the ancestors. One of the pearls of Tuva’s musical culture is throat singing, which is called “khoomei”. The soloists of the orchestra, being virtuoso performers on folk instruments, are fluent in all the techniques of unique Tuvan throat singing.
