Today in Ufa one of the main republican events of the outgoing year took place - the New Year Tree of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan. 780 schoolchildren from all over the republic, including about 100 children with disabilities, arrived at the festive New Year's performance.

The Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Lenar Ivanov, made a welcoming speech. On behalf of Acting Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov and on her own behalf, she congratulated the children and their parents on the upcoming holidays.

    “I think that you are very lucky, but at the same time, you tried hard to be here. We really hope that you will be intelligent and inquisitive. We will do everything so that you grow up, first of all, healthy and can realize all your energy and opportunities in our republic. Dream, create, dare, be healthy and happy”, said Lenara Khakimovna.

In the foyer of the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan" a meeting with Santa Claus, Snow Maiden and other fairy-tale heroes was organized for the children. Young guests in elegant costumes sang New Year's songs and started a friendly dance. After that, the Great Hall of the New Year multimedia show was shown in the Great Hall.
