This year the All-Russian campaign "Museums Night" was first held in an online format. Over 80 state and municipal museums of Bashkortostan took part in it. The events of the " Museums Night 2020" campaign got more than 147 thousand views on the Internet.

On May 16, from 6 p.m., museums presented more than 300 video excursions, video presentations, video master-classes, and other materials available on museum pages on social media (VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, Facebook, Instagram) and on museum channels on YouTube video hosting under the hashtag: #ночьмузеевРБ. Many museums conducted online broadcasts for users.

The museum's virtual events, prepared as part of the "Museums Night 2020" campaign, corresponded to three thematic sections:

— "Memory and Glory Night", dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War;

— "Welcome to the Museum!", covering the history of museums, their expositions, and collections;

— "Museum of Interests", representing video master classes conducted by museum staff and craftsmen for children and adults.
